How to setup delivery/read receipts in Outlook 2007

Are you looking to ensure emails are delivered and read on every outgoing email?
You can use the instructions below to configure this setting in Microsoft Outlook 2007.

1) Open Outlook
2) Select the “Tools” drop down and choose “Options”
3) Under the “Preferences” tab, click “E-mail options”
4) Click “Tracking Options”
5) In the middle of the page you will see “For all messages I send, request:”
a. Choose Read Receipt and/or Delivery receipt.
6) Click “OK”

You can confirm this feature is working by creating a new e-mail and choosing the "options" tab.
If setup correctly, you will notice the appropriate check boxes for Delivery and Read Receipts will match by default.
